Veggie Ball for Superbowl

Aldi had some terrific produce deals yesterday:

I put this veggie assortment in a football tray and it cost less than $3.00!

I also found 8 oz. mushroom packs for $.59 and avocados for $.59.

Add a little cup of blue cheese or ranch dressing on the side.  My kids loved it for their afterschool snack.

Dishwasher Magic Deal at Publix

I don't know about you, but it is hard to keep my dishwasher clean.  I tried Dishwasher Magic the other day since it is on sale right now at Publix until 2/3/12 for $2.50.  The wax top didn't melt the first time, but it did the second time.  It did a good job cleaning the dishwasher and left a nice, clean smell.  You can get a $.75 off coupon here so give it a try for only $1.75.

My Publix Trip 1/20/12- spent $15.96

I love the $10 off $50 gas card with $25 purchase coupon!  I also love taking the $10 out of my grocery budget instead of the gasoline budget.

I bought $51 worth of merchandise (really worth $86.58 if it wasn't all on sale) and two $50 Shell Gas Cards.

I used two $10 off $50 gas card coupon when you spend $25 in groceries found in the weekly ad plus coupons for:
Hebrew National (-$1.00 Publix coupon from Yellow Advantage Flyer)
Pepperidge Farm Swirl Bread (-$75/2 SmartSource 11/13 expires 1/22)
Starkist Tuna Pouch (-$1.00/2 RedPlum 1/1/12 and -$.50 Publix coupon from Find Yourself in Good Health Booklet found at Customer Service)

Hard Rock Tampa Campaign and Giveaway

Seminole Hard Rock Tampa will collect food for the local Metropolitan Ministries this holiday season as part of a Hard Rock International partnership initiative with the New York-based WhyHunger organization. They will also raise money through the sales of limited-edition John Lennon Imagine There’s No Hunger signature items.

From now through the end of December, Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino will donate through its Seminole Hard Rock Retail Store special limited-edition John Lennon IMAGINE signature and likeness items in support of the fundraising campaign, including the new IMAGINE t-shirts which will be sold at the Hard Rock Retail Store inside the casino.

Additionally, the employees of Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino announced that they will hold their own food drive for Tampa's Metropolitan Ministries and volunteer at the Ministries' Holiday Tent at 2002 North Florida Avenue during the holiday season.

The hotel and casino will also collect non-perishable food items from the public for the holidays in designated bins that will be conveniently located in the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel lobby.
